Kea's Post!!! :D

Well, this week, we said goodbye to the grandparents. After their year and a half of service in Laie Hawaii, in the seminary program, institute, and employment center. Last Sunday, we had seminary graduation for the seniors, coordinated by Tutu and Gdad, then on Monday evening, we went out for dinner and sent them off to Utah. Before they left, we had time to have a family get together/reunion for the Luahiwa family on Saturday. It was fun. It was an all day long event across the street from our house at the beach park. There was food and lots of talking. They were also able to catch, before they left, my poem reading contest. I had won a poetry contest for Star Poets contest (by Windward Community College and Starbucks). I went to the college and read my poem in front of everybody and was afterward rewarded with a certificate, a book, and a $50 check!!!!! :D Sitting through a 2 hour poetry reading isn't that bad when you get paid. :) Well, anyway, school for me and Noah ends this week Tuesday (yippee) and Thursday for Kamaile and Jarrod, then all pau school and hello to Summer! Next post, and we will all be done with school!
Here we come SUMMER OF 2010!!!

Jarrods Post!

Today is Fast Sunday and we are getting ready to celebrate Noahs Birthday on Friday. Its raining hard here on Hawaii buts it's quite nice because we haven't had rain like this in months. I have a band concert this Friday (For those of you who didn't know, Right now I play the Alto Sax, hoping to switch next year). Kamaile had her May Day concert on Friday and Sang a solo and did a awesome job. Kea has a Choir Concert on Wednesday and will do awesome. Noah's Birthday is Friday and will be turning 9. Tutu and Grandad will sadly be leaving here on May 17th when their mission ends. They look forward to possibly take home two homeless kittens we found across the street from our house.
